The organization which procures the name and title sponsorship to the 2008 HorsePower Tee Shot Tour (HTST) will enjoy an abundance of recognition through its association with this exciting event. HorsePower Sports Marketing (HSM), the public relations agency of the HTST, will work diligently to create beneficial exposure prior to, during, and after this series of high powered golf events.
As the name and title sponsor, the company will receive the following benefits:
Extensive Television Exposure: The entire six-event series will be televised on SPEED TV (for information on SPEED TV demographics, click here). The telecasts will be aired in attractive one-hour time slots and will feature re-airs as well (24 total hours of programming). Strategic camera placement throughout the venue will provide the name and title sponsor with exposure through unique event-related signage. The name and title sponsor will enjoy extensive branding through:
- Commercials: Within the name & title agreement, sponsor will receive two (2) commercials within each telecast. This totals forty-eight (48) commercial units.
- Television Graphics & Audio: The name and title sponsor will receive graphic or audio recognition when exiting into or returning from commercial breaks no less than fifty (50) percent of the time.
- Player’s Apparel: The name and title sponsor will receive the front of the “Power Golf” professional’s cap and the right chest of the “Power Golf” professional’s golf shirt. Additional sponsors will be recognized on both articles of clothing, but will not exceed the size of the name and title sponsor’s logos.
- Inflatable Space: The name and title sponsor will receive two (2) locations for company-supplied inflatables.
- First position: This inflatable will be placed in the corner of the tee box area in close proximity to the playing area and will not exceed six (6) feet in height.
- Second position: This inflatable will be in the left side of the competition grid and will not exceed sixteen (16) feet in height.
- Mesh Fencing: In excess of 500 feet of mesh fencing will blanket each event site. The fencing exclusively will promote the name and title sponsor through event logos.
- Tee Markers: The name and title sponsor will receive graphic identification on a pair of event tee markers which will be placed on the competition tee box. All competitors will play within the boundaries of these tee markers.
- Competition Golf Balls: The name and title sponsor logo will be placed on all golf balls used within the competition. A minimum of one (1) camera shot of the competition golf ball bearing the event logo will be captured in each of the twenty-four (24) one-hour telecasts.
- Fairway Signage: The name and title sponsor will receive four (4) signs located on the left side of the fairway. Signs will be strategically placed outside the competition grid in direct line with TV cameras.
- Tee Box Signage: The name and title sponsor will receive the entire back panel of the tee box signage {3 feet (H) x 12 feet (L)} located directly behind the player. This signage will receive effective in-focus exposure from cameras either placed behind the tee box or maneuvering throughout the tee box area. The sponsor will receive both sides of this sign, thereby capturing the attention of the crowd seated behind the tee box, as well as the camera directly covering the action.
Event Pro-Am Golf Outing: On the morning of the event, the name and title sponsor will receive twelve (12) playing spots in a golf outing. Each of the twelve (12) players will receive a goody bag and box lunch following play. Prizes will be awarded to the winning teams.
Event Hospitality: During the event, the name and title sponsor will receive twelve (12) VIP passes to a corporate hospitality area located either at the Host Site Clubhouse or VIP tent located on the grounds. Admission to the tent includes a complimentary meal and non-alcoholic beverages. A reasonably-priced cash bar will be in operation as well.
Event Sampling/Couponing: The name and title sponsor will be allowed to set up sampling stations at the venue, as well as coupon on site. Any set-up must be approved by HSM and the venue.
Website Presence: The name and title sponsor will have a prime position on the HTST Website Homepage, as well as receive a link to its corporate website via the HTST site.
“POWER GOLF” Getaway: HSM will orchestrate a 4-day/3-night golf excursion to a site to be determined following the HTST season for twelve (12) sponsor customers. The name and title sponsor will be responsible for its guests’ airfare and select meals. HSM will be responsible for the Thursday Welcome Reception, two rounds of exquisite golf (Friday and Saturday), the poker tournament (specific day is TBD), and Sunday morning awards breakfast. The top four (4) money winners on the 2008 HTST will accompany the group and partner with them during the thirty-six hole pro-am for impressive prizes.

The HorsePower Tee Shot Tour (HTST) will feature eight (8) pre-selected teams who will participate within the series of six (6) televised events. A team sponsorship will allow a company to place its moniker on the duo as they work together to accrue points. For example, the Pennzoil® Pounders or Coca-Cola® Crushers would be suitable names for a team.
As a team sponsor, your company will receive the following benefits:
Television Exposure: Strategic camera placement throughout the venue will provide a team sponsor with continual exposure through unique event-related signage. A team sponsor will enjoy extensive branding through:
- Commercials: A team sponsor will receive one (1) commercial within each broadcast. This totals twenty-four (24) commercial units.
- Television Audio: A team sponsor will receive a minimum of two audio mentions per event. One mention will occur through team introductions and the other within their participation on the tee box.
- Event Graphics: A team sponsor will receive a static logo placed in the right hand corner of the TV screen when each team’s performance chart is displayed following each round.
- Players Apparel: The Professional “POWER GOLFER” will wear his team sponsor’s logo on the left chest of the golf shirt. The team sponsor will also receive the right side of the player’s event cap.
- Tee Box Signage: A team sponsor will receive one panel {2 feet (H) x 4 feet (L)} located on the left side of the tee box. This positioning is extremely effective due to the positioning directly behind the right hand players.
